Spatial Multi-Sensor FP400

The Aqara FP400 Spatial Multi-Sensor is Aqara's flagship presence sensor. Unlike traditional motion detectors, which only detect movement, it can detect a person even when they are still: sitting on the couch, working at a desk, or reading. It can also determine where they are located in the room.

Its next-generation 60 GHz mmWave radar tracks up to 10 people in real time. It lets you create up to 8 detection zones (couch, desk, entrance, hallway...), each with its own automations: turning on ambient lighting when you settle into the living room, softly lighting the hallway at night, or triggering a welcome scene on arrival.

Its built-in AI filters out false detections caused by pets, robot vacuums, or moving objects. An AI-assisted zoning feature also makes setup easier.

It works without a camera: no images are captured, protecting your privacy. Thanks to support for Zigbee and Matter over Thread, it integrates with major ecosystems: Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and Home Assistant.

It is continuously powered via USB-C, so there are no batteries to replace, and it carries IPX5 certification against water splashes. It can be mounted on a wall, in a corner, or on the ceiling, and suits homes, bathrooms, kitchens, offices, and short-term rentals.
