A lot has happened since our PAL was introduced almost 20 years ago. The iPod came and went, homes and phones became smart, streaming services became the norm, and technology allowed us to get even better sound in smaller packages. That's why we knew it was time to rethink our most popular portable radio, the PAL. When re-designing our most popular DAB portable radio, we wanted to bring back some of the old-school charm that was lost with the original PAL+. We added easier controls, improved radio reception, enhanced sound performance, longer battery life, and simple Bluetooth connectivity, all while staying true to the original PAL's retro design. You won't want to stop listening to our best digital portable radio yet.
